Computer regahemenb to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuiclcView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the Erst time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requite a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purohase It be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension.' There needs to be as image viewing application for .tif files on your computes that will handle single and multi=Page documents. On a Wnndows XP computer, the default viewing programs aro called "Windows PicDue and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrlanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructloas• I. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to itlstell. ~. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Aurorae, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm Program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Iastntctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.atate.co.us. The Permit File document Images can be viewed Iu the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost rnvers the time and labor of making the CD.
