A program called QniclcView will be copied to the CD and moat be installed as your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Fuuae use of this oc other imaging CD's doe not requite a new inatalladon of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you pt¢chme ~ be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs [o be en image viewing application for .tif files on your compute that will Kandla single and multi-page docume~. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Views" or "Paint" and they do~wark with Qt»ckView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP compatere does work. DMG hsa detecsnined rhea a program called "hlanView", which can be downloaded from I:fanView.cam, does work with l2uickViow. After downloading "IrfanView^, it needs to be configured as Your default .tif viewer. DMG does not attpport or endorse this software and the licensing and registration aro the user's responsibility. There arc many other programs that work ae well, stub as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Iustruedom: 1. hretxt the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for rho CD t4 install. 3. Bject the CD tkom the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready m view rho Permit Files. NGTB: A program called QuiCltView Autonm, which cans the tZuickViaw temp program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoron program doer NOT work; you will need to manually inabll the QuickView program.
