Enclosed are
the responses from three seed suppliers contacted, and spread
sheets for comparison on equal basis.
Scme of the spade; are in short supply, or not available,
resnlti;ig in high prices. The most complete quote from Pruita
CC-CF is s:abject to availability.
Seed mixture TM1, to be :used at the Bear Creel: Site, is about $350
I.er acre. Seed :nixture k2, to be used at the Lower Hubbard Craelc
Site, is about $1,500 per acres. I feel the required seed mi;:ture
is too expansive, :~:ith the cost impacte. by a few expensive
species.
You indicated t:e may be able to substitute for some species, and
vary tlii: application rates. P.lso, you said you were aware of
some other suppliers. Please review the information, said advise
on our best course of action. Since cue will be seeding these two
sites this fall, I need Co prepare ray order soon.
Please call if there are any questions.
Sincerely,
T}~omas C. e4ndersor~, P.E.
Environmental Coordinator
cc: J.E.
