Gnany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has received your letter dated 22 March 2006 regazding Colowyo's request <br />to change the scale of some of its permit maps from a scale of 1 "=500' to 1 "=1,000'. <br />The Division has reviewed Colowyo's request and has the following comments. <br />Rule 2.10.1(1) requires that all "Maps of the disturbed area shall be at a scale of 1:6,000 <br />or larger..." Based on this Rule, the Division has determined that the following maps are <br />appropriate for a scale of 1"=1,000'. <br />Map 7 -Geology <br />Map 11 -Hydrology -North <br />Map 12 -Hydrology -South <br />Map 41 -Watershed Boundaries for Hydrologic Mapping <br />Based on Rule 2.10.1(1), the Division has determined that the following maps constitute <br />maps of the disturbed azea, and as such, must remain at a scale of 1 "=500'. <br />Map 4 -Vegetation <br />Map 5 -Soils -North <br />Map 6 -Soils -South <br />Map 18 - Premining Topography <br />Map 19 -Postmining Topography <br />Map 19A -Postmining Topography - Gossard Area <br />Map 21 -Existing Structures -North <br />Map 22 -Existing Structures -South <br />Map 34 -Bond Calculation Map -Worst Case Topography North Area <br />Office of Office of Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey <br />
