He wanted <br />to slightly alter the connection to the outfall pipe. I <br />discussed the changes with Candy Thompson in your office <br />last week. She approved the alteration. <br />Basically, Bob wants to delete the 12" to 8" reducer. <br />The 12" inlet to the 8" pipe would produce too much pressure <br />and possibly blow the 8" line from its connection. Secondly, <br />Bob plans to connect the 8" line to the face of the retention <br />plate at the end of the outfall, rather than coming out <br />the bottom of the outfall pipe. <br />After talking to Candy, I advised Bob to proceed with <br />these minor alterations. <br />Very truly yours, <br />Tommy D.
