Betz <br />0355 - 132 Rd. <br />Glenwood Springs, CO 81602 <br />Dear Mr. Betz: <br />The Division has revoked the bond on the Sunlight Mine located on the road to <br />the Sunlight Ski Area near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Specifically, the mine <br />and lease area are located in portions of Sections 33 and ?4, T7S, RR9W and <br />Sections 3 and 4 of T85, R89W of the 6th P. M. in Garfield County. The area is <br />depicted on the U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle of Cattle Creek, Colorado. <br />With revocation of the bond, the Division is in the process of developing a <br />reclamation plan for the mine. This plan will include sealine of the two <br />portals, except that the lower portal will he sealed to allow controlled <br />tlrainage to an irrigation ditch. Instigation of reclamation at the site will <br />require total demolition and removal of all the structures and miscellaneous <br />materials at the site. <br />The principal owner of the mine, Mr. J. R.
