The following items are enclosed:
1) "Appraisal of Real Property" -dated September 18, 1995;
2) "Appraisal of Diminished Value" -dated October 6, 1995; and
3) "Post-mining Structural Survey" -dated December 14, 1995.
Please understand that we are not attesting to the validity of these documents at this time. The
documents are being forwarded to you for your information.
As promised, I also enclose copies of photograph prints which were originally provided to the
Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) by Mountain Coal Company on October 23, 1995. The
DMG has covered the cost of the reprints. The photographs were taken on November 4, 1994,
December 13, 1994 and December 20, 1994. I also enclose another copy of the materials (received
October 23, 1995) which accompanied the photographs. These documents were provided to you
with the DMG letter of March 20, 1995, but I am enclosing the materials again to ensure delivery.
Please let me know when you receive this package, and if these materials were previously given
to you by Mountain Coal Company. Please also provide a detailed description of the cabin damage
which you believe remains unrepaired at this time.
We will schedule an inspection of the cabin during May, and we will recommend that both
Mountain Coal Company and Mautz representatives be present.
