The bond
amount has been set by DMG.
Midas Mining, Company Inc. (MMC) has surveyed the Ophir Lode and
Ophir MiIT~ Site by,,licensed surveyor. and reconfirmed the
original survey so the permitted area is exact. Our permit made
provisions that all storm water and any drainage from the mine
will be directed to four settling ponds on the permitted area, and
no discharge of water will be delivered to Red Cloud Creek or
Henson Creek. No ore will be processed on site.
Did we understand correctly, if we contain the drainage and storm
water on the permitted area, that we are not required to apply
for a storm water permit or a NPDES permit.
We have permission to refer you to Mr. Bob Oswald, DMG, 701
Camino del Rio, Rm. 125, Durango, CO 81301, Telephone_970 247-
5193 for any information regarding the mining permit and Mr.
Oswald's on site inspections.
Since I reside in Oregon, .please send your reply to Wayne Giesy,
Midas Miningg Company Inc., P. 0.
