A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be insmtle4 nn your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Pu[ure use of this ar other imaging CD's does not rcquim a new installation of the Sollwarc. 2. The CD yr DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will road a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. Thcrc needs to be an imago viewing application fur .hf files vn your computer that will handle single and multi-page documentg, On a Windows XP computeq rho defaul[ viewing progrntns arc called "Windows Picture and Pax Viewer' o[ "Paint" and they ,cj~i noL work with QuickVivw. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP evmpute[s does work. DMCi has detcmtined that a program Dolled "LfianVicw",which can be downloaded fmm IrfanView.cont, does work with QuickVicw. Affcr downloading "1[fanView'", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG flocs not support or endorse this software and the licensing and regisvation are the user's responsibility. There arc many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Prcvicw%' and "Imaging fur Windows', Instrvctlnns• 1. Insert t:hc CD into your computer. Allow time far the CD to install, ~. 6jcct the CD from the ron+puter. 4. Reinsert Ute CD into the computer. S. You arc ra7dy to view the Pem+it piles. NOTC: A pmgram called QuickVicw Ao[orun, which runs the QuickVicw setup profnatn, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autontn program does NOT work, you will need W manually install the QuickView program, Insttucfions for manually insmlling QuickView are available upon request with the CD nr can be viewed at www,mininG.state.co.us.
