M. <br />Sec. 36: Lots 3, 4, NXSE%, SNfiSES, M%SE%SEff <br />encowpassing 210 acres, ^ore or leas. <br />(- <br />The above described lands cover the existing peraitted disturbance area .at the <br />quarry, and overlap your recently Siled Calcite Liaeetone Placer claims as to <br />the 140 acres in the SE% of Sec. 36. The cawwunity pit does not •ithdrav the <br />lands frog location; horever, the coawunity pit constitutes a superior right <br />to rewove aaterial as against any subsequent claim or entry of the land (43 <br />CFR 3604.11b)/. <br />It ie the current policy of the Bureau to actively encourage and sake possible <br />the private developwent of mineral resources on public dowain lands. The <br />priaary purpose of this office in establishing a cowwunity pit on the quarry <br />Bite ras to protect the deposit Stow possible epeculativ location activity <br />end/or winerale aaterial trespass.
