The Cash Mine was the lazgest mine and
producing until the eazly 1950's. Development ceased in the early 1960's and the mine
was closed. Materials pre-dating Mount Royale were cleaned up. Accumulated mining
equipment and gazbage have been recycled and/or removed; petroleum products and old
batteries have been properly recycled. An unsightly mine dump has been recontoured,
topsoiled and will be seeded for use in the upgraded mine.
