Wald, Natural Resources Defense Council, <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />APR 30 2001 <br />Division of Minerals 8 Geology <br />Inc. <br />As a result of coal lease application COC 62920 filed by National King Coal, <br />LLC, the Bureau of Land Management, Uncompahgre Field Office, has scheduled a <br />public hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at the San <br />Juan Field office, Public Lands Center, 15 Burnett Court, Durango, Colorado <br />81301. <br />The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on the environmental <br />assessment, maximum economic recovery and fair market value of the federal <br />coal to be offered.
