CO 80187 <br />Pndie (303) 8743800 <br />RE: Aspen Regeneration Study - Little Middle Creek Tract; Permit <br />Revision No. 1 of the C-81-071 Permit <br />Per our discussion of 1 July 1988, Colorado Yampa Coal Company requests <br />a suspension of the monitoring requirements for the Aspen Regeneration <br />Study. As you know, the study was initiated to evaluate differences in <br />topsoil handling and manipulation with an emphasis on woody plant <br />establishment, notably aspen. <br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company proposes to discontinue extensive sampling <br />until the growing season prior to disturbance in the Little Middle Creek <br />Tract.
