These documents include the
operator's tabulation of pumping records for the Hazel-A adit, as well as
the third page from the Division's 10/11/95 inspection report. From the
inspection report page, under the heading Removal of Contaminated Soil,
you will find that the requirement to notify this Division or the Health
Department prior to excavation of contaminated soil was relaxed. It is
our view that adequacy of the soil removal project can be adequately
evaluated after the fact.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~~ ~
i, ~ ~ "~
(,( .~ 2\
Allen C.
