This permit is specific to <br />reclamation of previously permitted sediment ponds located on the former mine site. This report covers the <br />yeaz ending December 31, 2000. The annual report form is attached to the narrative which follows. <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board has forfeited the reclamation bond of the former operator of <br />this site. Therefore, the Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) is performing reclamation of the Coal <br />Basin Mine as required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. <br />In order to facilitate the completion of reclamation at the site, the Division obtained the subject permit. <br />Reclamation construction is being accomplished in conformance with the stormwater permit requirements. <br />Please contact me at the phone nlunber or address below if you have questions or comments. <br />Sincerely, <br />~' <br />~~ <br />Steven G.
