A program called QuickView will be copied [o the CD and must be instalted on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD [hat you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .[if extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .[if files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has detemilned that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .[if viewer. DMG does not support or endorse [his <br />software and the licensing and registration are [he user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />the CD into your computer. <br />time for the CD [o install. <br />3. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
