P&M received the topographic
maps on computer disks from the contractor in early September. Inconsistencies between the
contractor's mapping format and our format have delayed our ability to model the final Moffat pit
in the time frame we had previously anticipated. We have begun our modelling efforts regarding
the designs required by Stipulation 36, but do not anticipate being able to meet the September 30
submittal date as required by the stipulation.
Should you have any questions regarding this request, please contact me at your earliest
convenience.
Sincerely,
Brian D.
