Under separate cover, copies of these documents <br />are also being provided to Ms. Loretta E. Pineda of the Mined Land Reclamation Division. <br />This survey was recently completed (111961 by Alpine Archeological Consultants, Inc., of Montrose, <br />Colorado, on behalf of Camp Bird Colorado, Inc., of Salt lake City, Utah. Camp Bird Colorado, Inc. is <br />the site owner, and is currently in the process of final site reclamation relative to affected surface <br />associated with the former Camp Bird Mine. The mine is permitted under the State of Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources -Division of Minerals and Geology (Mined Land Reclamation Division) <br />Permit No. M-82-090. As indicated, the primary purpose of the survey was to identify structures <br />possessing historic significance to aid in reclamation planning prior to final site closure. <br />We trust that the enclosed materials prove beneficial in documenting the historic significance of the site. <br />If you have any questions regarding the survey, please do not hesitate to contact me Ithe site <br />reclamation technical consultant to Camp Bird Colorado, Inc.l at 13031 985-1521, or Mr. Scott Butters, <br />President, Camp Bird Colorado, Inc., at 18011 355-7260. <br />Sincerely, R E r <br />J.
