Approval of
these mining plan modifications supplements the mining plans for
Federal leases C-29125, P-058300 and COC-49465 at your King Coal
Mine.
I have enclosed a copy of the mining plan approval document and
associated map for these mining plan actions. Mining and reclamation operations must be conducted
in accordance with both the Colorado state permit and the
approved mining plans.
The October 22, 1997, approval allows you to mine an additional
1.5 million tons of Federal coal from 260 acres of Federal leases
C-29125 and COC-49465. The approval also increases the number of
acres in the approved mining plan areas to 862 acres.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 844-1999.
Since ely,
~~~
Lawrence G.
