Box 907
Salida, Colorado 81201
Dear Mr. Butala:
I talked to Dan Hernandez, the last Reclamation Specialist you talked to in
this office. Dan said that he suggested to you to add by amendment to your
existing permit the adjacent land you want to prospect. That way the land
would have a reclamation permit, and the existing $5,000.00 bond would act as
financial warranty. This is, of course, only true if the total permitted area
did not exceed 10 acres, the maximum for your present 110 permit. A 45,000.00
financial warranty is the maximum the Division can require for this type of
permit.
However, if you still want to file a Notice of Intent to conduct prospecting
and post a separate bond, the enclosed forms are appropriate for the financial
warranty.
Sincerely,
G
~~
Larry 0.
