Fax;719-84~-0427
81091 Home: 719-846-0461
MAY Il 2U02 os/o9/o2
Division of Minerals and GeoioHY
This prope ty is to the north side of the highway 12 and the
highschool, approximately 22 miles from Trinidad, Co..
This home 's over 50 years lod and has stucco covering on all
the exterio walls. The foundation is made from cinder-block
and concret The basement is accessable, but has almost all dirt
floors and alf of the basement is crawl space.
I noted on fairly deep crack in the floor going up from approxi
mately 4 foo to 2 food from the floor joists, where the earth has
separated ab ut 1~ inches wide and 8 to 10 inches deep.
The exterio:
with the maj~
shift on the
block founds
by appraxima
or so.
foundation wall
rity being aroun
southwest corner
ion has moved in
ely 1 inch. This
has several cracks on each wall,
3 the windows. There is a positive
of the house, where the cinder-
to the north or under the house
may have happened in the last year
There are 3 indows cracked in the front western side of the house
and they are ld ones.
There is a c ack on the west side also, that has been done in the
last year, tha is from the foundation all the way to the roof line.
There is also new crack on the east wall (inside) the back porch
that is in the ceter of the wall running horizonally.
The bathroom n the back side of the house has a crack along the
chimney, from he floor tb the ceiling.
The kitchen a chway to the livingroom has a crack at tie floor
base and is a1 o crumbleing.
There are sev ral cracks in each room of the house that for the
most part, I believe'tb`.be fairly old ones.
The above cracks I have mentioned above are the ones needed to
be noted and probably watched down the road.
The garage is a 3 car, cinderblock with wooden roof. The side
walls are tied in with a cable from the front to the back of the
building. There are separations on both side walls that are fairly
old, which is way the cable is bound from the front to the back,
holding everything together. The back taall is against a hillside
and is in good repair.
The barn is a machine shed, polebarn type and is leaning tword
the south side, but is sound.
Pg. 1 of 2
