We would appreciate your patience and cooperation in
straightening this matter out.
In your letter of November 5, 1985 you stated that you no longer own the
Colorado Rose Red Pit. Was this operation permitted through the Division by
you under the File Number M-78-332? If you were the original permittee, our
records show that a succession of operators never took place. The permittee
is responsible for notifying the Division when this occurs. Unless the
succession of operators is submitted to the Division, the original permittee
retains all obligations and liabilities of the permit.
I am enclosing a copy of the appropriate form necessary to transfer the permit
to another operator. The bond should also be transferred to the new operator
and your bond will be refunded to you. The transfer can not be completed
until an annual reclamation report and all unpaid annual fees have been
submitted by you or the new operator.
If you have
questions
Sincerely,
c~,~ C

Anne C.
