We will backfill and
regrade these areas to their original contour, then seed and mulch
this fall, weather permitting.
This backfilling will eliminate future eroding in the area immediately
below this pond. We have an adequate stand of vegetation at Pit U1
and I feel there will be no more silt runoff and need for this small
pond in that area.
Though the sheep rancher requested us to leave all ponds, I feet chat
this pond would not serve his needs due to its very small sire.
Enclosed, find a map depicting the pond and drainage ditches invoLveJ
in my proposal.
I will be looking forward to your response.
Sincerely, / _
Robert H.
