Ainscough and Lewicki:
The Division has reviewed your application for a pennit revision to the
Animas Mine mininy and reclamation permit. For the record, following are
the adequacy concerns that were identified during the review, and which
we discussed during our telephone conversation of April 2U, 1983.
1. Not all the contiguous landowners west of the proposed pennit
area have been given. Names and addresses should be provided.
2. The section entitled "Identification of Interests" (Section
2.03.4), must be updated to reflect recent changes.
3. The new permit boundary is within 30U feet of a number of
occupied dwellings on the northwest side. The waiver required by
Rule 2.07.6(2)(d)(v) must be submitted for all such home dwellers.
tAy retords indicate that all of these adequacy concerns have now been
satisfactorily resolved. The review of the revision application has been
completed and the Division is proposing to approve the application. I
will be sending the public notice and findings of compliance shortly.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~~~ (~e.v.__ rrrl~w l~
Susan Mowry
Reclamation Specialist,
SM/mt
Doc.
