In answer to your first question on each mine, both
mines will be mined at the rate requested in their respective technical
revisions. The Beaver Creek Mine has a very deep clay deposit and therefore
does not require as much surface disturbance annually. The mine phasing and
the reclamation phasing are essentially the same as they were in the original
application, the only difference being the final date by which the deposit
will be exhausted. That would have been the only change showing on a new map
and it didn't seem like that should be necessary to clarify that issue.
However, should you still desire a new mine plan map, that revision can be
made on the original mylar and copies forwarded to you.
In answer to the questions numbered 2 in your letter, the application and
fee were paid on the number of acres actually planimetered from the mine plan
map, those being 8.2 for Beaver Creek and 7.7 for Stocks.
In answer to your questions numbered 3, Sunmit Pressed Brick and Tile in
order to consolidate their annual reporting for all of their mines had delayed
reporting on these two until the information was in on their other opera-
tions. They understand now that the report is due on the anniversary date of
the licensing of the operation and I have been assured that these reports and
the appropriate fees are being processed. Should you not receive them in a
reasonable period of time, please advise and I will follow-up.
