This request
increases the injection pressure of the solution mining wells from 700 PSI to 800
PSI. Prior to increasing the pressure on a well a successful EPA approved UIC
permit pressure test will be completed on each well. This test will insure the
formation fracture pressure is not exceeded.
This revision does not change impacts analyzed in the EI5 for the Yankee Gulch
Sodium Minerals Project and is therefore approved.
If there any questions, please contact Paul Daggett at (970) 878-3819.
Sincerely,
7~~~~
Kent Walter
Field Manager
cc: Mr. Dan Jackson
United States Environmental Protection Agency
999 18th Street - Suite 500
Mail Code SWM-DW
Denver.
