A pmgram called QtEickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed op yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. 2. The CD or DVD that you punhase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. Th'(. CD will contain files with the .tif extension. Then needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Pictwe and Fax V iewe~' or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. ARer downloading "L4anView", it needs to be configwed as yow default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration aze the user's responsibility. Then are many other programs that work as well, such as "hmaging Preview" and "Lnaging for Windows". InstructIons• ]. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready W view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which tuns the QuickV iew setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Insintctioas for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.mininc.state.co.us. The Permit Flle document (mages can be viewed la the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the time and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related support.
