We will continue our efforts to try to be part of this <br />program that hopefully will begin in the spring of 1998 and continue year after yeaz un[il Knapweed is no longer a <br />problem. <br />In the meantime we will do the following weed management plan or action schedule: <br />• Steve O'Brian and I will mark up an aerial photo outlining the Knapweed area with the following <br />classifications of: 'Heavy, •Moderate, ~ Light, and ^Scattered. <br />• Annually Beginning Spring 1998 Treatment Program <br />• Work with the D.O.E. to begin treatment using herbicide: 1. Tordon -Water areas or near aquatic 24D. <br />2. Begin spray in heavy areas. <br />• Keep Record on plan[ reduction and continue to monitor and control annually. <br />• Will continue to work with D.O.E. and Jefferson County to participate is the County Knapweed Master <br />Plan. <br />• Work with Jefferson County and the Department of Agriculture to obtain and introduce Bio controls such as <br />the Knapweed Beetle. <br />Sincerely, ~ <br />I , <br />CHURCH RAN <br />.ice <br />Charles C.
