The sampling was conducted within the portion of <br />Mine 1 Area 1 seeded in 1983. A total of 10 samples were taken and sample <br />adequacy was met at the 90 percent confidence level. <br />Total vegetation cover was higher and percentage of bare ground was lower than <br />in 1986. Much of the increased cover is attributable to yellow sweet clover. <br />Absolute cover of perennial grasses remained fairly stable, while the annual <br />weed component appears to have decreased. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions. <br />Sincg~ly~``` /./ ___ <br />i <br />Dan T.
