Jorgensen, President of Columbine Industrial, Inc. dated
May 13, 1985.
We feel it would be inappropriate to present a protest concernirg dust since that
is not part of the statutory mandate of the Mined Lard Reclamation Act, as defined
in C.R.S. 34-32-101 et s~a~.
Our client has evaluated the issue of pavirg the road, and it appears rot to be
cost effective in light of the relatively short mining life of the sand pit.
However, other measures are being cronsidered, and one already implemented, in an
attempt to address the issues raised by the protestant.
A copy of this~lgtter is being sent to Mr. Jorgensen for his advice.
Rle Concrete CoiilTdny
ention: C.
