BOX 857 PUEBLO, COLORADO 81002 (303) 561.6350 With response to your letter of April 10, 1985 regarding our bond, the following is a breakdown of the balance of reclamation for Stage I. We have completed everything is Stage I except the following: 1. Seeding the southeast corner which are pictures one and two. 4.2 Acres 2. After back filling and sloping, we would have to seed and plant about 30 to 35 trees. This total area for seeding is 4.5 acres. My estimate to finish the sloping would be 7400 yards of dirt. This is based on the idea of waiting until late fall when the river goes down and the water table drops. We would then pump this lake down which would enable us to do a much better job. The only equipment needed to do this is a 950 loader and a 922 loader and two dump trucks. Figuring our present costs, we should not have a cost of more than $14,000.00 to complete Stage I. As for Stage II, we have already backsloped over 2500 lineal feet of shore line. We will continue to back slope as we are mining. When we are through mining Stage II and III this area will be used as a settling pond. When it is full it will be stabilized and used as open land. See our reclamation map ~~ F.
