Permit C-82-056 <br />As we discussed on Monday, 7 November 1988, Twentymile Coal Company is <br />requesting a minor mine plan modification for the Foidel Creek Mine. The <br />modification involves Section 24 of coal lease C-20900. We will be <br />extending the longwall face approximately 100 feet to the west of the <br />original location and the starting rooms will extend another 190 feet west <br />of the new face location. This modification will involve extracting an <br />additional 8,200 tons (8 thousand tons) of coal in the C-20900 lease. <br />Within the Resource Recovery and Protection Plan of the Foidel Creek Mine <br />permit, we had indicated 1,489 thousand tons of coal were recoverable in the <br />C-20900 lease. The additional coal represents a relatively insignificant <br />increase of .55 percent. Consequently, the Resource Recovery and Protection <br />Plan has not been revised. <br />Enclosed are 3 copies of Map 23, Mine Plan, and Map 23a, Mine Plan <br />(5-year mine plan with subsidence monuments), which indicate the location of <br />this minor change. As discussed above, none of the pages of the C-82-056 <br />permit document have been revised. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions or require additional <br />information.
