Computer requirement to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requhe a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase gym be is the D: drive.. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. Tim CD will comma files with the .tif extension. Thera needs to be an image viewing application fur .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi=page doctmmenis, On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs ate called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or `Taint" and they do not work with tZuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined thffi a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading °IrfanView", it needs t0 be coafigtued as your defitult .tif viewer. DMG.does not support m endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such u "Imaging Pnview~' and "Imaging for Windows". Iinstructlona• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install ~. Eject the GD from the computer. 4. Rttineart the CD into the computer. 5. You aro ready m view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called t2uickView Autorua, which tuna the QuiekView sotup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work, yiou will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuicYView are available upon regttaat with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.stm.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD parchase coat coven the time and labor of making the CD.
