A program called 1ZuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the fast time. Futl¢e use of this or otherurmging CD's does not require a sew installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mg3g be in the D: drlva. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain Elea with the .cif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .cif files on your computer that will handle single a»d multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' or "Palm" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computes does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from LfanView.com, does work with l2uickView. ARet downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be conh'gured as your defauh .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endow this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsrbility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Lrmging for Windows". InetrncNons• 1. Insert the CD into yolrr computer. Allow time for the CD ib install. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView xlup program, has also tern copied ro this CD. If the Amotlm program does NOT work, you will need to mannany install the 12uickView program hlstnrctions for mawally installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.mirlina.state.co.us.
