According to my records, for
Munger Canyon we issued an adequacy letter for TR-12 (ephemeral channel reclamation
designs) on January 15, 1998, and have not yet received a response. In addition, you submitted
MR-15 (ownership and control update) which was deemed complete on February 23, 1998. We
had requested certain additional information in order to approve [he revision, but the information
has not been provided. Finally, as you and I have discussed, information regarding the plastic
culvert outlet sleeves and a quarterly monitoring commitment for inspecting and main'.aining the
sleeves will need to be incorporated into the permit text. If you wish, this information could be
incorporated in your submittal for TR-12.
For McClane, outstanding issues include TR-09 (ephemeral channel reclamation designs), for
which we issued an adequacy letter on March 9, 1998, and IvIR-26 (ownership and control
update), which was deemed complete on February 23, and for which we had requested certain
additional information.
These issues need to be resolved in a timely fashion. As I mentioned to you last week, it would
be inappropriate for us to initiate review of any additional revisions prior to satisfactory
resolution ofthe outstanding issues addressed above.
Please contact me if You have any questions.
Sincerely, /
Dan T.
