The stipulation referred
to reads as follows:
Coors Energy Company shall construct all additional powerlines and
poles at the Keenesburg mine site so as to minimize the danger of
electrocution to raptors. The designs shall be submitted to and be
approved by the Division before construction.
Based on the information supplied by Mr. Robie the Division finds that
the two types of powerlines utilized at the mine are in compliance with
raptor protection requirements and may be relocated as desired. Any
new powerlines constructed with the same design will also be in compliance.
If however, a different design is chosen Coors should obtain approval
for its use prior to installation.
Thank you and Mr. Robie for your attention to this matter,
Sincerely, ,~
_i=' -
~~~~~~
Robert Liddle
Reclamation Specialist
RL/ep
cc: Bill Robie
Adolph Coors Company
