Your letter referenced Section 3.x.3.1 of the <br />e.dna ivtine permit, which addresses dewatering of the ivioffat Pii.vur uriginal concern, which <br />was protection of the west collection ditch during pit dewatering, was not addressed in that <br />section. After discussing the matter with you today, it is our understanding [hat the stability <br />and function of the ditch will not be compromised if the pump hose outlet is placed well inside <br />th? ditch, Yarall:l.te-the. ditch cirirc. Provided PrFrM Planes the numn hDSe in the described <br />manner and closely monitors the ditch for erosion or siltation, we agree that there will not <br />likely be a problem with pumping pit water to the collection, ditch. PAM should be aware that <br />the ditch must be maintained as designed.
