Computer requirement to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QtrickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD tbat you purchase m stu be in the D. drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. Them needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint' and they do not work with QtsickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.cotn, does work with QtlickView. After downloading "IrFanView", it needs to lx configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. '[here are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to inatalL 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the Cf) into the computer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Automn, which tuns the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.miniae.state.co.us. The Permit Flle document Images can be viewed In the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the time and tabor of making the CD.
