As I
explained to you, we are in the process of reevaluating our current mine plan
for the Kerr :tine and would like to request an opinion as to whether or not Bush
and Williams Draws contain such a biological community.
You suggested that the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division and the
Colorado Division of Wildlife could conduct a joint inspection of this area to
obtain a preliminary decision as to the presence or absence of a stream biologi-
cal community. This arrangement is acceptable to Kerr Coal and we would appre-
ciate your help in arranging for such an inspection as soon as your schedule
will allow.
If there are any questions, please notify either Dave Gossett or myself.
Sincerely,
KAC/cj
CC: JTCooper
BLDoores
14SMcCarthy
DRGossett
KERR COAL COMPANY

Kent A.
