A preliminary
spoils aquifer model will be submitted by January 31, 1986.
A deadline for submittal of the annual hydrologic report was discussed. The
annual report has been submitted in January or February in previous years and
has consisted primarily of a compilation of data. You indicated that CYCC
would be including interpretation of the data in this year's report, and that
as a result it would be submitted somewhat later than usual. We stated that
inclusion of data interpretation would be appreciated, but we had a more
immediate need for the data and requested that the data be submitted as
promptly as possible. Submittal of the final report, containing CYCC's
interpretation of the data could be delayed until the end of February. Since
no deadline~or annual hydrologic report submittal is spelled out in the
permit, we , quest that you give some thought to the issue and submit a minor
revision application proposing an annual deadline for report submittal.
Land Use
Two distinct issues were discussed. The first issue is of relatively minor
significance with respect to the overall revegetation plan. You indicated
that recently obt ned information shows that when original vegetation and
land use maps w prepared for Permit 79-177, certain areas which had been
developed for ved pasture (i. e. brush treated, pasture grasses seeded,
and occasional arvested for hay) prior to mining were incorrectly mapped
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
