These variations are for the
sedimentation ponds A,B,C',D,Temp. .
1J Pond A- The design shows the emergency spillway to be 21'
wide with a water depth of 1=;'. Tlie existing spillway at
only 5' wide, needs to be widened, with rip-rap, to the
above width. Additionally, the emergency spillway needs
to be lowered 0. 7' while the dam crest must be raised 2'.
2J Pond C- Pond C design drawing shows a 45' dam width on top
for the proposed roadway- The existing dam needs to be
widened approximately 23' to the north, with rip-rap as
detailed in design drawing and extension of the primary
spillway outlet pipe.
3) Pond D- Primary spillway outlet shows a 12" Ch1P. An 8"
.Ch1P is eristiny, which needs to be replaced. The bottom
of the dam is shown as much higher than existing, and reeds
to he raised.
4) Pond Temp- The existing elevation of the primary spillway is
just slightly lower than the emergency spillway, as shown
on the drawing. Tlie existing primary outlet should be
lowered one foot, The emergency spillway was redesigned
for a water depth of 3/4 foot and existing spillway width.
truly yours,
