Mine
Dear Dr. Corley,
°F ~O~o
•~~
~ re T6 ~
Roy Romer
Governor
Michael B. Long
Division DlreClO!
As you are aware, the Division has proposed an alternate design for
the West Pit Diversion Ditch located at the G.E.C. mine. This
design was forwarded to Phil Kessler of Kessler Reclamation to
estimate a cost to construct the diversion ditch a few weeks ago.
Mr. Kessler quoted a figure of $26,000 to construct the ditch,
remove the sediment pond, regrade and reseed the area.
At this time the Division proposes to revise the settlement
agreement language for the West Pit Diversion Ditch. Please refer
to the letter dated November 8, 1993 sent by Larry Routten
regarding specific changes in the language of the agreement.
Please contact Larry Routten or myself as soon as possible
regarding this issue.
Sincerely,
~~ s. ~
Erica S.
