Box 591
Somerset, CO, 81434
Dear Ms. Welt:
HAROLD (HALT O. SIMPSON
Stare En0lneer
This responds to your inquiry about the Jumbo Spring No. 3 Pond
decreed in case no. W-2472. The decree provided for 0.10 c. f. s. of
water for stockwatering, absolute, and granted a conditional decree
for the same water for domestic purposes. A conditional decree
requires the owner to periodically come back to the Water Court to
make a showing of reasonable diligence. I have been unable to find
that such an application has been made in this case. Therefore, it
appears the conditional domestic use for this spring may no longer
be valid.
Sincerely,
Keith C. Kepler
Division Engineer
