One of the officers, Gary Carden, is also
listed as owner/operator of Cannon Coal Co. Cannon Coal Co. applied for and
received an exploration permit in 1983. They met all their obligations under
the exploration permit and the Division released bond in 1984 and 1985. The
bond which was sent by certified mail was never picked up by Cannon Coal Co.
and was therefore returned to the Division. We are forwarding the bond
directly to the issuing bank.
This file is considered inactive due to the Division's decision to release
bond.
I have received information that Mr. Carden may be interested in mining
ventures in New Mexico and Texas.
If you have any questions please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
OUP r~6{.t,`ll.
Susan Mowry
Reclamation Specialist
SM/sjv
1586E
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
