Mr. Hockett has <br />also informed me that somebody was on the mine property with <br />a four wheel ATV, driving in and around the sediment ponds. <br />Mel, if we are to be successful in the revegetation of this <br />property, we need your help. This means staying off the re- <br />vegetated areas with all vehicles. I understand that you <br />need access to your pasture to the north of the mine, but <br />please limit your driving to designated roads. As you are <br />aware, we are under strict constraints imposed by the State <br />Division of Minerals and Geology and the Office of Surface <br />mining, a Federal agency. If this problem continues, I will <br />be forced to lock all gates leading to the mine property. <br />If you need access to any part of the mine that is not <br />served by a road, or need on the property for any reason, <br />please contact Dale Hockett at 731-2945 in the evenings and <br />let him know what you are planning. <br />Bonneville Construction, the company leasing the office, has <br />been informed to deny access to anybody unless Dale or <br />myself has given permission to enter. <br />To let you know what is going on, we are in the process of <br />changing the AVF pasture reference area from its current <br />location west of sediment pond 002. Its new location will <br />be west of the natural gas pipeline and north of your <br />portion of the AVF pasture.
