PUBLIC NOTICE
Zemlock and Son, Inc., 320 Park Drive, Glenwood Springs, Colorado,
81601, has filed an application for a Mining, and Reclamation Permit
with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under the provisions
of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act. The proposed mine will
be located on the following described land:
The fcllowing described lands in Sections 25 and 36, Township 7 South,
Range 88 [lest, 6th P.M.
Those portions of Lots 8, 9, 10, 15, and 16 lying in the south one-
half of the south one-half of Section 25 and Lots 2 and 3 in Section
36 excepting any part of the above named lots in Sections 25 and 36
lying southerly of the northerly right-of-way of State Highway 82
and excepting, any part of the above named lots in Section 25 lying
within the parcel of land described in the Quit Claim Deed Document
No. ?_88920, Book 516, Page 393. Also excepting that portion of:
I.ot 16, Section 25 lying southerly of the Basin Ditch.
This land is located 12 miles east of Carbondale on Highway 82,
north of Highway 82 and east of the Crystal Springs Road and is
on the Jean Blue property.
Tlie proposed date of commencement is 1982 and the proposed date
of completion is 2014. The proposed future use of the land is
argicultural/resource lands. Additional information can be obtained
from the Mined Land Reclamation Board at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 723,
Denver, Colorado, 80203-or from the applicant. A copy of the plan
is on file with the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder.
Objections must be filed with the Mined Land Reclamation Board
1 at their offices no later than 4:00 P. '~. of the working day
prior to the date the Board will consider the application.
