As per our phone
conversation, you requested notification of the results of our field inspection.
Please find attached the field notes and photographs documenting the results of this
inspection conducted in February of this year. Both sites were found in excellent
condition, well vegetated with no sign of erosion or damage. Reclamation work was
completed on both sites and a short section of access road in 1995. The boreholes
were abandoned as documented on the attached drill hole abandonment report.
Based on my site inspection, I believe that the reclamation work completed is
satisfactory and I recommend that these two sites be released from liability under the
BLM exploration lease agreement. If you need any further information or have
questions, please call me.
Sincer ly,
Ke t A. Gorham
Environmental Protection Specialist
Attachments
