Long
Division Dueaor
As a follow-up to your letter of May 26, 1993 regarding the insurance certificates for the
Red Canyon, Blue Ribbon and North Thompson Creek Mines, I spoke with Mr. Barry Blanchard of
the Linden Company. He verified that existing SEM/MINREC, Inc. coverage extends, without
question, to the bIINRF.C sites.
Mr. Blanchard indicated that new certificates would be issued which clearly specify MIAiREC as the
"Insured" rather than the "Additional Insured". He also indicated that the certificates would specify
that aproject-specific aggregate limit applies.
Additionally, a claim status report will be provided to DMG every 6 months to ensure that adequate
coverage exists.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely
~-
%,
Gl~Davi .Berry
Se r Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Larry Routten
zChristine Johnston
Barbara Pavlik
m: \oss\scm\stover. ltr
