Computer requlrementa to ass the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase moat be in theD. drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD witl wntain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and mold-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are celled "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computero does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfBnView.wm, does work with (juickView. After downloading "h:fauView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and'7maging for Windows". Inetructlom: 1. Insert the CD into your compute[. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called tZuickView Automn, which tuns the QuickViaw setup program, has also been copied to !Iris CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the receptloa area of the DMG o81ce or they can be purchased on a CD or DYD. Tha CDlDVD purchase wet covers the tlme and labor of making rho CD.
