A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase moat be in theD. drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD witl wntain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and mold-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are celled "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computero <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfBnView.wm, does work with <br />(juickView. After downloading "h:fauView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and'7maging for Windows". <br />Inetructlom: <br />1. Insert the CD into your compute[. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called tZuickView Automn, which tuns the QuickViaw <br />setup program, has also been copied to !Iris CD. If the Automn program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />Insmrctiona for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.tninine.s[flte.w.un. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the receptloa area of the DMG o81ce or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DYD. Tha CDlDVD purchase wet covers the tlme and labor of making rho CD.
