I have subsequently returned them to Mr. Ream at Cooley Gravel Company. We now have another matter pending and confronting the Board of Adjustment. Cooley Gravel has requested certain reconsiderations and suggested changes in the resolution that was adopted on September 10, 1975. A copy of this resolution is enclosed for your reference (see page 5 and 6). You will also find a copy of the minutes from the January 7, 1976 rehearing where the concerns were discussed (see page 2 and 3). We are seeking your comments pertaining to slopes or faces being curved and contoured rather than leaving them with corners. It was the Board's thinking that this would produce more or less of a rounded or softer appearance for less detrimental visual impact. The applicants feel this is impossible, unadvisable and would create an un- safe condition. In essence, what we need to know from ,you is if this could be accomplished and how you laould recommend that it be done; and if you recommend that the outside edges or corners of the benches not be more rounded or softened, please explain the adversity setting forth your reasoning.
